Brought to you by Pulse Events, The Bath Beast is the last event in the South West’s cycling calendar, and it is a Beast of an event, where the longest route of 100 miles covers significant climbs that will push the most experienced cyclists to their limits.
Sign up now and release your inner Beast, on Sunday 17th September 2023. Starting and finishing at Bath’s iconic Lansdown Racecourse, this epic new cycling route will take you through the scenic sights of the Westbury White Horse, Gare Hill, and Shearwater Lake with a climb back up to Lansdown.
The stunning routes of 100 miles (160km) and 70 miles (112km) have been designed to challenge the most dedicated long-distance cyclists, with the 25-mile (40km) route providing a fantastic opportunity for cyclists wanting to discover the undulating hills around Bath.
This new route to the cycling event calendar was mapped out by Pulse Events and covers the rolling hills and countryside of Somerset and North Wiltshire. It is measured in miles (yes you did read this correctly!) and will push the most experienced riders to their limits.

This event is brought to you in conjunction with Pulse Events & The Bath Bike Workshop for Julian House, who are challenging you to put the pedal to the metal on Sunday 17th September and take on the Bath Beast Sportive. The event is measured in miles (yes you did read this correctly) and all three distances of 100, 70 and 25 miles will challenge the most dedicated of riders whilst raising vital funds and awareness for Julian House.
The people we support are often ordinary people who have fallen into difficult circumstances, be that as victims of domestic abuse, mental health issues, family breakdown, childhood trauma and addiction.
With your help, we can give them the break they need to get back on track.
