Entries have opened for the 2024 SKODA Tour de Conamara.

Billed as Ireland's most picturesque sportive, the Tour de Conamara is based in Clifden, Galway and offers riders a choice of 140km and 80km routes.

The ride takes in a wide range of scenery including mountains, lakes and sections of the Wild Atlantic Way coastal route.

This year's edition takes place on Saturday 25 May 2024.

Entries are priced €55 plus booking fees. As with many Irish sportives you'll also need to fork out €20 for a day licence from Cycling Ireland unless you're a member - an unfortunate tax on overseas visitors. If you're planning on riding several Irish sportives in a year then annual membership with Cycling Ireland is likely to be worthwhile.

Places typically sell out quickly each year, so early entry is advisable.
