With just four days to go until this Sunday's Great Manchester Cycle, online entries have now closed. However, do not despair if you haven't yet secured your place: last chance entries are available on site tis Saturday for the 13 and 26-mile rides.

The Great Manchester Cycle is a unique event, allowing thousands of cyclists to take to the city's roads in a completely traffic-free environment. Starting at the Etihad Stadium, the course takes riders over the iconic Mancunian Way, which would be out of bounds to cyclists on any other day. A perfect chance to seize a sneaky Strava KOM...

The sights of Old Trafford and Salford Quays come next, before riders head back to the Etihad to complete a 13-mile loop.

Three events are being held on the day, over 13, 26 and 52 miles, with entries to the 13 and 26-mile rides on sale between 1pm and 5pm this Saturday from the event information point at Sportcity.
