The Hemel Hillbuster will start and finish in Gadebridge Park, Hemel Hempsted HP1 3AQ. There is public car parking at Gadebridge Park for up to 300 cars, please do not park on the grass. There is also on street parking nearby.

Please note that any cyclist under the age of 18 must have parental consent to take part and any cyclist under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. We recommend that you have passed your cycling proficiency test and have a year’s cycling experience on the roads.

Be well prepared! Please ensure that your bike is in good working order before attempting the Hemel Hillbuster and bring spare tubes, tyre levers and pump with you! Basic bike repair kit and pump will also be available at our feed stations.

Please familiarise yourself with the route for your own safety. All routes are provisional although they are expected to remain largely unchanged. Maps will be available closer to the event.

Maps will also be made available as PDF soon and GPX in the week prior to the event. A link to final GPX files will be emailed to all entrants on Mon 17th April 2017. The route will be fully signed and marshalled and there will be a support vehicle, food stations and first aid. The event HQ will have refreshments for friends and family as well as riders. Hearts First Aid will be on site and a bike doctor will be available.

All participants MUST wear a safety helmet and we would recommend safety clothing.
