The North Derbyshire Challenge Sportive starts in Markeaton Park, Derby and heads up into the Peak District for some stunning scenery and memorable climbs.

There are four distances on offer and all four initially head out to Carsington Reservoir.  The 40km route will turn at Knockerdown and come back to the park.  The 80km route goes up to Darley Dale, just outside Matlock and then will return through Tansley, Crich, Heage and Quarndon to come back to the park. We are currently recce-ing the 120km route and will be able to post this shortly.

The 160km route, which has just over 9000ft of climbing, goes up through Alstonefield and Longnor to Edale and back through Grindleford and Beeley before joining back up with the 80km route at Tansley and heading home.

There are feed stations on each route and all riders will return to Markeaton Park for some hot food and drinks.

Enter as an individual or as a team in the Geldards Team Distance Challenge with discounts for teams of more than 4 people.
