British Heart Foundation have given their historic London to Paris Bike Ride a makeover for 2017. A brand new route will take you through some of the very best countryside England and France have to offer - all leading to the most memorable of finish lines in the heart of Paris.
With a team 150 strong, you'll enjoy an amazing, camaraderie filled atmosphere - supported every mile of the way by our world class team, who have a wealth of experience in guiding cyclists throughout this epic challenge.
The event is an ideal experience to share with a team of friends, family or colleagues, but solo riders are also more than welcome - and will quickly make new friends to cycle alongside throughout the journey.
British Heart Foundation's route is still being designed, using past participant feedback to guide them . they will update this page with more information as it becomes available, but in the meantime, here's a short summary of our itinerary for the weekend:
- Day 1 – Cycle from London to the coast. Cross over to France via a ferry from Newhaven to Dieppe (4 hour crossing)
- Day 2 – Cycle through some of France's most beautiful countryside
- Day 3 – Paris here we come!
- Day 4 – Travel home

Independent rider
You arrange your own support vehicle and driver and are required to transport yourselves and your bikes to and from the start/finish venues each day.
It can just be yourself and a driver - or a huge team full of friends, family or colleagues.
All participants, and the support driver are required to register individually online - stating your team name when doing so.

This option is for cyclists who want to take part and not have to worry about transport and travel throughout the event. Whether you're taking part on your own or in a team, we will transport you, your bike and your luggage from finish lines to hotels, hotels to start lines and back to the U.K. after the event.
