The Kidderminster Killer is a challenging 215km endurance ride incorporating many of the best climbs and scenery that Worcestershire, Shropshire and The Marches can provide. If you are easily bored of flat routes, the Kidderminster Killer will keep you entertained from start to finish. This audax is rightly as a classic and challenging audax.

From Clee to Heaven is a hilly adventure into deepest rural Shropshire including a circuit around the Clee Hills. Strangely, the Clee Hills are rarely visited by any cycling event, so you will be in for a treat. Rather like the Kidderminster Killer, it is a hilly and challenging route but not quite so long. The figure of eight route is hilly but will provide an easier day for people who do not fancy the tougher and more challenging Kidderminster Killer.

Extra Information

This event is regarded as a classic in audax circles and for justifiable reasons.

The Kidderminster Killer provides a challenging ride through scenic and rural countryside.  It often changes character from rolling pastoral landscape to the starker heather clad fells of the Long Mynd.  In places, some of the gradients are quite challenging but riders are soon rewarded with distant views.  Controls are located at Acton Scott Farm, Montgomery and Ludlow where good quality cafes can be used for replenishment.

211km; 3,750m of ascent.

From Clee to Heaven is of similar length to our popular Sunrise Express audax but is hillier. Don't let that put you off. This route will provide a fantastic summer's day to remember. Some minor changes have been made to the route to enhance the views of Brown Clee and a new traverse down the Severn Valley to Arley.

For Audax Altitude Award point collectors, From Clee to Heaven has been awarded with 2AAA, which in layperson's language means that the route contains approximately 2,000m of ascent.

125km; 2,000m of ascent.
