If you've never ridden the Vale of Evesham before, you're missing out! There's a great reason that Boardman Bikes - our headline sponsor - have chosen to move their HQ to Evesham, and to build a world class performance centre here.

Evesham CycleFest is proud to present 4 distances this year - by popular demand, a 38 mile route with no big climbs, perfect for childrens first sportive. A 43 mile route climbing the iconic Saintbury, or 73 climbing both Salters Lane and Saintbury. And the big challenge, the 101 mile which has the climbs of the 73, but then also takes in a spectacular route around the Capability Brown designed landscape around Croome Park.

You'll love the chocolate box villages on the Cotswold escarpment, the less known views through Honeybourne and Bidford. The georgian town of Pershore, and local cyclists favourite route around Bredon Hill. The routes have been designed by the CycleFest committee to take in their favourite views and areas, so even if you are local, you may find places you've never been before.

Chris Boardman will lead out the sportive, and then you'll find him back at the Boardman Bikes stand ready to talk about the range of bikes and his plans for the Performance centre.

Have a go at Watt bike racing, and meet the designer himself, Mr Eddie Fletcher - another cycling business based in Evesham.

Have a sports massage, enjoy a coffee from possibly the only mobile unit run by an endurance athlete, make a bike powered smoothie, or cheer our smallest cyclists on in the balance bike racing.

Unlike many sportives, CycleFest is based a stones throw from the town centre, so family and friends can explore the town while you are riding, take a boat cruise on the river, visit the art deco cinema, or try the activities on offer at CycleFest - there are rides for everyone from 4 upwards and everyone gets a medal!

The sportives are fully supported with a mobile mechanic, on course first aid, chip timing (with an immediate time available), signed, free feed stops including at the end, and a beautiful bespoke medal.

All Cyclefest profits go to local cycling projects run by Cycle Evesham Vale, plus the Alzheimers Society and the Worcestershire Young Onset Dementia Service.
