Black Shuck Sportive

As Legend has it. The huge black hell hound roamed the North Norfolk Hills bringing death to any poor soul (cyclist) that happened to meet it!   The secret of surviving an encounter with this hound was to not to stop on the inclines of the North Norfolk Coast line.

With the History lesson over, this cycling event is geared to both the the cyclist who enjoys the challenge of taking in the best hills of North Norfolk and the leisure cyclist who loves beautiful country views and quiet undulating roads.

There is a choice of three routes which can be mixed and matched, The 1st route is a hilly route which takes you east towards Cromer. You will be going up and down the ridge line of the Norfolk Norfolk coast (beware of Black Shuck)!!

The 2nd route option heads west out to Stiffkey and takes in some slightly longer but less steep hills.

The 3rd route option is a gentle undulating route which passes through beautiful North Norfolk villages and quiet country lanes.

Each loop is approximately 25 miles and you can buy up to 4 loops (100 miles) which can be mixed and matched.
