50/50 Leics Gravel Ride

Discover parts of north Leicestershire you didn’t know existed and if you’ve not got a bike suitable for off road riding, no problem, just take the road only signage on the route.

We've put together a 50/50 on/off road route using byways and bridleways in the Melton Mowbray area. Many of these tracks have harder, gravel type surface so it is suitable for a gravel, cyclocross or mountain bike. The 50/50 ride is designed to give roughly 50% of the ride time off road, so the mileage for the road section is higher, but you will spend abot 50% of your time on the byways and bridleways. 

This event is being run with the long term aim of financially supporting the new Leicestershire Cyclocross League
