Combining an iconic Olympic venue, beautiful countryside and exclusive event benefits, TP ICAP L'Etape London gives riders an opportunity to experience the magic of the world's greatest cycling event on their doorstep.

Three distance options are on offer: Long (186km), Medium (147km) and Short (76km), making Etape London an ideal challenge for cyclists of all levels of experience.

Departing from East London, the scenic open-road route takes in much of Stage Three of the 2014 Grand Depart. Entering rural Essex, riders will enjoy a mainly flat course making it a perfect opportunity for cyclists to open up and test their legs over two timed closed road sprint sections.

Heading back into the city, the sportive culminates in a spectacular timed lap of honour at the Velopark. Cyclists will be able to emulate the professionals by charging for the line and seeing how they compare against fellow riders, in the contest for official green Tour de France jerseys.

Three routes are on offer each starting at the Velopark in East London's Olympic Games site.

The Tour de France experience will be part of every element of the event. Riders will be given Tour de France style bibs and will be following official Le Tour signage. Out on the course, cyclists will experience the highest quality feed stations including products from official nutrition partner, Optimum Nutrition, and first-class mechanical support from VonCrank, as well as regular fly-bys from moto marshalls and red Tour de France Skodas.

Once over the finish line, riders will receive their medals and can celebrate with a complimentary Erdinger Alkoholfrei at the cheese and wine party, before grabbing a picture on the Tour de France podium.

Nick Rusling, CEO at Human Race, says: "This event is where we really see the might of our parent company ASO benefitting our riders. In no other event in the UK do you have access to so many elements that are synonymous with Le Tour. Again, we will be playing host to a Tour de France Champion, who we will be excited to announce in the coming months!"

Alexandra Wick, Group Brand & Marketing Director at TP ICAP, says: "We're pleased to be involved with the L'Etape London for the third consecutive year. It's an event that gives people a taste of what it's like to cycle along an official Tour De France route and last year, we had more than 300 TP ICAP riders out on the course, of all different levels of ability. We are hoping that even more take part this year in what promises to be a brilliant event."

Participants are encouraged to raise funds for the event's official charity Access Sport. The charity works closely with volunteer-led community sports clubs, helping disadvantaged and disabled young people to achieve their full potential and enjoy the social and health benefits of sport. Riders can find out more at www.accesssport.org.uk.

Earlybird entries for the Etape London are now on sale priced £36 for the short route and £42 for the medium and long routes. The first 150 riders to sign up will also receive a free Tour de France polo shirt
