The Hardest Hundred Sportive Series comes to one of the most beautiful parts of the country in May, the glorious Forest of Bowland. The long route packs in over 3,500m of elevation & 6 big climbs in 100 miles. Tackle the famous Trough of Bowland, the wild & rugged Cross O’Greet and some classic local climbs on this stunning route.

The 100mile route features 6 main climbs and a total of around 3,500m of elevation. We start with the long Newton Fell (3.4km) before the steep Birdy Brow (averaging around 10% gradient). The most famous climb is the Trough of Bowland before the rise to the Jubilee Tower with views over to the coast.

After a relatively flat section by feed stop two in Wray, the route then heads over the mighty Cross O' Greet before a quick descent back to Slaidburn. Wave goodbye to the medium routers as we head back across the moor over Bowland Knotts and then hit High Hill Lane at Settle before a quick last 30km.
