Struggle Moors Sportive

Struggle Moors is set in Yorkshire and is one of the UK's hardest sportives.

Struggle Moors will next take place on 2 July 2023. Entries open at 12 noon on 1 November 2022. Pre-register now at the event website.

Although this epic feat may feel frightful, with preparation, pacing and plenty of fuel it's achievable for any aspiring road cyclist.

The event begins in the stunning setting of Ampleforth Abbey, North Yorkshire and takes riders over 112 miles of challenging terrain among breathtaking Yorkshire Moors landscape. 

The route has been dubbed as one of the hardest sportives in the UK, with riders continuing their training following Struggle Dales to take on this monster event. Cycling Weekly reviewed it as: "One of the best days out and something to aspire to.”

Entries will open on Friday 5 November 2021 to pre-registered riders for 24 hours before going on general sale. You can pre-register now at the event website, or secure an early place by entering Struggle Double - including entry to both Struggle Moors and Struggle Dales.
