A new kind of bike race...

Voted “Event of the Year” by the Design and Innovation Awards committee, Grinduro expanded to four events in 2019 and for 2020 will see six international editions including the new Grinduro Switzerland.

Grinduro Switzerland will take place in Lenzerheide, best known for the annual UCI Mountain Bike World Cup. The mountain landscape around the village offers first-class gravel tours with magnificent views. Further north, the Rhaetian Railway winds its way through the spectacular Albula Valley on a UNESCO World Heritage Railway Track. In this unique landscape, the first Grinduro of Switzerland takes place.
 

THE ULTIMATE PARTY TO RACE RATIO

The unique format of Grinduro combines the best elements of a mountain bike enduro with a gravel grinder-style road race. Festivities include two days of excellent food, a handmade bike show, an art exhibit, live music and camping.

In short, Grinduro is just what it sounds like: Gravel Grinder + Mountain Bike-Style Enduro = one long loop of pavement and dirt, where finishing times aren’t based on overall loop time, but four timed segments (each roughly five-to-ten minutes).

But Grinduro is not just a bike race. It’s a celebration of cycling with as much emphasis on the party as the ride, with excellent food, an impressive display of art and incredible handmade bikes, live music, free camping and a festival atmosphere.
