Shelter Cymru’s ‘Castles & Cathedrals’ is back and offers riders one last challenge at the end of the season.
With three fantastic routes to choose from, each offering their own challenge, Castles & Cathedrals is a sportive not to be missed.
All of our routes start and finish in Cardiff and travel into the Rhondda Valley before splitting off from each other, with the Castles Grande Route heading into the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Riders will return to Cardiff for the end of the challenge for food and to collect their medals.
Castles & Cathedrals is a picturesque sportive, taking in some of the most spectacular scenery Wales has to offer.
All proceeds go to Shelter Cymru, the housing and homelessness charity in Wales. Money raised will help to ensure that the thousands of Welsh people facing homelessness each year have the advice and support they need to find, and keep, a home.

Over 12s can ride when accompanied at all times by an adult.
Safety and Medi bikes, mechanical support and rider recovery will be on hand during the event.
Feed stops will be available throughout the route and a free hot meal will be available on finishing.
