Ballot entries for the 2019 edition of the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 sportive are now open. The ballot will close at 17:00 on Friday 4 January 2019 or when 80,000 entries have been reached.
RideLondon will take place over the weekend of 3-4 August 2019, with over 20,000 cyclists expected to take part in what has become a highlight of the UK sportive calendar.
The RideLondon 100 sportive will take place on Sunday 4 August, followed by the Classic men's pro race and the Classique - the richest one-day race in women's pro cycling.
Featuring a 100-mile (161km) course on closed roads through the streets of London and the roads - and hills - of Surrey, RideLondon is one of the UK's most popular sportives.
The event always oversubscribed, meaning that places are allocated via a ballot system. Riders can also choose to enter via a charity place, by committing to raise a certain amount of money for their chosen charity before the ride. Entrants living outside of the UK must enter via the overseas ballot at www.prudentialridelondon.co.uk.
The entry price remains fixed at £69 for 2019, with applicants set to find out whether they have a place in early February. Entry details for the shorter 46- and 19-mile routes will be announced in 2019.
