Contador odds-on for Tour de France comeback

ALBERTO CONTADOR is odds-on to return to winning ways after he completes his ban according to Ladbrokes.

The controversial winner of the 2010 Tour de France has been stripped of his title however it's just 5/4 he's victorious in the 2013 Tour and the Spanish cyclist is odds-on at 4/7 to be crowned champion again before 2020.

Cadel Evans is the favourite for this year's Tour at 13/8 with the newly instated 2010 winner Andy Schleck priced at 5/2. Team Sky's Bradley Wiggins earns a 9/2 quote.

Contador is eligible to return to the sport in August at the Vuelta a Espana where he's the stand out leader at 8/11 with Joaquin Rodriguez the second favourite at 9/2.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "The odds suggest when Contador comes back he'll still be a controversial champion of cycling."
