Entries open at noon today for the 2016 London-Paris ride by HotChillee.

Run over three days from 26-29 May, next year's ride will take place a month earlier than usual because of Euro 2016 football championship taking place in Paris in June.

The 2016 edition of this classic cycling journey will also feature new routes on each of the three stages, taking in sections of the 2015 Tour de France routes. Other changes include:

  • A new special group for newcomers to cycling with speed range 22-25 kph. The focus is on riding safely, completing the event, learning rather than racing or being skilled in big bunch riding.
  • A new start venue with closed circuit for yellow race section (Cyclopark, Gravesend) with parking 5 minutes from Ebbsfleet (Eurostar train station).

  • Additional award categories including Master (40-49 years) and Grand Master (50 years plus).

Entry costs £1495, which includes meals and three nights' accommodation en route, channel crossing, transfers, and an array of other goodies.
