Yorkshire 199 Cycle Tour

Following the success of Yorkshire 199 2015, we're going again in 2016!  But we're going bigger and better. More riders will mean more people to meet and more riders your speed.

FRIDAY
You'll start on Friday and finish on Sunday in the beautiful city of York. On the Friday, there's no set start time, so just drop your car off or take the short 1 mile cycle from the station and leave your bags with us. Make sure to check out our top travel tips if you're travelling by train.

The first leg of the cycle tour is a loop in the Howardian Hills. A perfect warm up.

SATURDAY
The big one. You cycle east, clipping the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds before riding across the stunning North York Moors. Save your energy for the second half, there are some breath-taking climbs!!

Saturday night in the beautiful seaside town of Whitby. Why not stroll down to the beach, picking up some of Whitby's famous fish and chips. After all it is home to the 2014 'Best Fish & Chips' Award!

SUNDAY 
The cycle tour returns to York - we think you'll love the change in scenery from epic lofty valleys to rolling moorland.
