Tour of Ayrshire Gran Fondo 2017

Welcome to the Tour of Ayrshire Gran Fondo powered and supported by the Braveheart Cycling Fund. 

The event is part of a weekend long festival starting on Friday with an amazing tour of colour run and party around Kay Park in Kilmarnock events head quarters. Saturday plays host to a highly produced mass participation time trial over closed roads open to anybody who wants to experience what it's like to be a pro!

The Gran Fondo is a qualifying event for the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships, and will be organised in the same format as the Tour Of Cambridgeshire over fully closed roads.

The event caters for everyone whether you are an elite racer, an athletic sports rider, a challenge rider, or just out to test yourself in a more leisurely way on your bike, on closed roads, around the stunning East Ayrshire countryside.

The Chrono is to be held over 20km with 206M of climbing and features 600 riders. The Gran Fondo will be held over 137Km featuring 1535m of demanding climbs with up to 8000 participants. The tour of colour run will be over 4km and feature loads of colour and a party!
