20,000 riders took part in the RideLondon-Surrey 100 in 2015, the third edition of what has quickly become one of Europe's biggest sportives. Entry is via public ballot which opened in August and will be closed once they receive 100,000 entries. Charity places are alaso available for riders who commit to raise money for certain designated charities.

It is expected that roughly 14,000 of the 20,000 places that are available will be delivered by the public ballot.

The event is starting to bill itself as the cycling equivalent of the London Marathon and it looks likely that it will become harder and harder each year to secure a place in the RideLondon 100.
