Welcome to the Marmotte Gran Fondo Ecosse powered and supported by the Braveheart Cycling Fund. The event takes place on fully closed roads and due to the grandeur of the routes, scenery and parcours has been awarded the prestigious Marmotte title. The event is part of a weekend long festival starting on Friday with an amazing tour of colour run and party around Kay Park in Kilmarnock events head quarters. Saturday plays host to a highly produced mass participation time trial over closed roads open to anybody who wants to experience what its like to be a pro! Sunday is your chance to participate in the Uks first Marmotte Gran Fondo which is to be organised in the same format as the now legendary Tour Of Cambridgeshire over fully closed roads.

The event caters for everyone whether you are an elite racer, an athletic sports rider, a challenge rider, or just out to test yourself in a more leisurely way on your bike, on closed roads, around the stunning East Ayrshire countryside.

The Chrono is to be held over 20km with 206M of climbing and features 600 riders. The Gran Fondo will be held over 137Km featuring 1535m of demanding climbs with up to 8000 participants. The tour of colour run will be over 4km and feature loads of colour and a party!
