Meon Valley Riser

The Meon Valley and its surrounding area is a haven for cycling enthusiasts. The rolling hills in the South Downs make for some spectacular scenery and the area is filled with interesting history. At the top of Old Winchester hill are the remnants of an old Iron Age fort, and old churches and villages litter both routes. At times you’ll forget that you’re only a stone's throw away from the major cities of Southampton and Portsmouth.

The routes have been designed to encounter as little traffic as possible, and there are minimal miles on bigger roads.  All three of the Riser courses take in some challenging hills, but with rewarding views and descents. We appreciate that while riders are looking for a challenge, you also want to be able to enjoy yourself. Get ready for an exciting and exhilarating day in the saddle on a meticulously planned route!

***important booking information*** We only have 120 parking spaces. Please try and car share, it's better for everyone and the environment. When you book, you are booking the number of riders that will be in your car or van. There are only a limited number of spaces so get your friends involved and book quickly. The more riders the cheaper the ride!
