The Dunoon Full Moon Ride is an overnight sportive starting in Glasgow, Scotland.

The ride will start at Glasgow High School Sports Grounds next to Anniesland Cross, Glasgow at 9pm on Saturday 4th July 2015 and finish at Dunoon Riverside Leisure Centre for sunrise on Sunday 5th July at 4.38am where we will enjoy a Cafe Del Mar inspired breakfast BBQ.

Ride only entry will cost £30 for 77mile ride and £35 for 109 mile ride. A donation of £5.00 per entry will be split between Glasgow’s Yorkhill Children’s Charity and Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice

Your entry will entitle you to lots of grub at the feed stops in Helensburgh, Arrochar, Rest & Be Thankful, Strachaur, Tighnabruich and Dunoon. To help with the party atmosphere each stop will also have entertainment.

For 240 lucky souls the organisers have chartered a boat for the return from Dunoon to Glasgow. The boat will depart at 6am and get to Glasgow for 9am. Your bicycles will be transported by van / lorry. Return boat and bike transfer will cost an additional £30.00.

Those not getting boat transfer can get bus transfer (bike in van/lorry) from Gourock to Glasgow for £20.00

The first Western Ferries sailing from Hunters Quay to Gourock is 7am. If numbers are high enough the organisers hope to persuade them to run an earlier sailing. Scotrail only allow 6 bikes per train from Gourock.
