The 35th Great Notts Bike Ride will take place on Sunday 26th June, 2016.

Take in some of the most stunning scenery that Nottinghamshire has to offer on our four different routes – each one guaranteed to give you a different challenge.

You’ll also get to enjoy a vast array of snacks and treats at all of the different feed stations en route designed to keep you pedalling with a smile on your face.

To celebrate the Great Notts Bike Ride’s birthday, all of the rides have been renamed and branded to increase the Nottinghamshire identity.

The Route

2015’s highly praised Sportive route has been retained giving the serious cyclists among you the chance to push yourself while enjoying some excellent undulations, fast straights and ultimately a brilliant cycling experience.

The route heads South and then East towards the Vale of Belvoir, the sportive route then turns North towards Newark before turning west and heading towards Car Colston and East Bridgford.

The Sportive then splits from the 50 mile route and heads north towards Lowdham and Thurgaton.  The route then enters an anti-clockwise loop that takes in Fiskerton, Caunton, Sutton-on-Trent, Wellow, Eakring and Edingley before returning through Thurgaton and back to the remainder of the 50 mile route.

The route finishes by passing through Radcliffe-on-Trent and returning via Holme Pierrepont and the riverside path.

Taking in some of the county’s stunning scenery, this is a must-do for any cycling enthusiast.

Please note that this event is for people aged over 18 only.
