The Cheshire Cat Sportive is one of the most iconic sportives in the UK. Since its introduction, it has been a favourite among riders of all ages and skill levels. This year it is back with three separate routes to choose from. The short route is 50 miles while the medium and long routes are 80 and 108 miles respectively. The routes get progressively harder with the increased distance.

All three routes take you through the Cheshire countryside and many of its small towns, where enthusiastic onlookers will cheer you along. There are no serious climbs on the short route, so it makes for an excellent way to start the cycling season. The short route is also a great option for novices looking to complete their first sportive event. The medium and long routes are a bit more difficult; both include the legendary Mow Cop killer mile.

Enjoy the gently rolling hills of Cheshire along with the beautiful Delamere Forest and a number of other locations of interest as you make your way along your chosen route. Cyclists on all three routes will finish at Queens Park in Crewe, where they will be treated to food, drinks, and a variety of live entertainment. Bring the whole family and make a day of it!
