The Look Marmotte Granfondo Alpes is one of Europe's oldest and toughest sportives. Established in 1982, the 174km route takes in over 5,000 metres of climbing with ascents of the Glandon, Telegraphe and Galibier serving as a warm-up for the main course: the legendary 21 bends of Alpe d'Huez.

Packing even more climbing (5600m) than the Marmotte Alps over a 163km route, the Marmotte Pyrenees is a formidable challenge with Col d'Aspin and not one but two climbs of the Tourmalet awaiting riders.
