Ballot entries for the 2018 edition of the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 sportive are now open.

RideLondon will take place over the weekend of 27-29 July 2018, with over 20,000 cyclists expected to take part in what has become a highlight of the UK sportive calendar.

The RideLondon 100 and shorter RideLondon 46 sportives will take place on Sunday 29 July, followed by the Classic men's pro race and the Classique - the richest one-day race in women's pro cycling.

Riders sprint down the Mall on the finishing straight of the RideLondon 100.

Featuring a 100-mile (161km) course on closed roads through the streets of London and the roads - and hills - of Surrey, RideLondon is one of the UK's most popular sportives.

The event always oversubscribed, meaning that places are allocated via a ballot system. Riders can also choose to enter via a charity place, by committing to raise a certain amount of money for their chosen charity before the ride.

The entry price remains fixed at £69 for 2018, with applicants set to find out whether they have a place in February.
