"We know that your bike is an extension of your lifestyle, as it is ours," say Chapter 2, "And we know how important it is to have bragging rights to the coolest looking kit on your local bunch ride/race..."

And if it's bragging rights you're after, this custom-painted frameset is sure to turn heads on the Sunday club run. The frame features the profile of Stage 17 of this year's Tour de France, including the iconic climb of the Col du Galibier.

First introduced in the 1911 Edition of the Tour, the Galibier is steeped (pun intended) in history with France's Émile Georget the first to pass over the summit. In fact he was one of only three riders including Paul Duboc and Gustave Garrigou who were able to ascend the Galibier without resorting to walking.

Since 1947 the Galibier has been a summit finish on only one occasion when Andy Schleck won in 2011. However, great riders such as Pantani (1998), Luis Ocana (1973), Eddy Merckx (1969), Charly Gaul (1959 & 1955) and Fausto Coppi (1952) have all gone over the Galibier whilst in the lead.

Chapter 2 are making just 17 of the celebratory frames, each one individually hand painted and bearing a unique number signifying its rare and limited status.

With stage winner Primoz Roglic likely to be first in the queue for a souvenir, that leaves just 16 frames up for grabs... Check out the Chapter 2 website for more details and to get your hands on one.
