Following the sell-out success of Easter Monday's Cotswold Spring Classic, organisers Velo Events are pleased to announce their partnership with Against Breast Cancer will continue for the Cotswold Autumn Classic later in the year, with entries now open.

The 2017 Cotswold Autumn Classic, supporting Against Breast Cancer (to give it its full name) takes place on Sunday 1 October. The ride is based at the same popular venue as the Spring Classic, but takes cyclists on a completely different route heading towards the north of the Cotswolds. With a choice of three routes over 55km, 100km or 160km, it's the ideal late season event to keep riders focused throughout the summer.

Entries are now open for the 2017 edition of the Cotswold Autumn Classic.

"The Spring Classic was a great success - and we raised thousands of pounds for Against Breast Cancer, with more money still being donated" said event director Andy Kirk.

"We're excited to be continuing our partnership with Against Breast Cancer to raise more money for the charity and at the same time continue to develop the Spring and Autumn Classic sportives."

The Autumn Classic offers riders a choice of three fully signed routes, motorcycle outrider support, medical cover, mechanical back-up, broom wagon, electronic timing and everything you'd expect from a European-style sportive. Once back at event HQ riders will be treated to a hot meal, a goodie bag and a finishers medal.

Entry is priced at £28.00 per rider, and all 800 spaces are expected to sell out well in advance.
