Circumnavigating the capital in a 185-mile loop over two days, the Dulux Trade London Revolution has always packed a punch. But now, thanks to popular demand, organisers Threshold Sports have launched an ULTRA option that challenges riders to complete the entire distance in a single day.

This year's Dulux Trade London Revolution takes place over the weekend of 13-14 May. Starting from Lee Valley Athletics Centre, riders will head south on the first of six stages over two days' cycling.

The route takes in some of London's most iconic landmarks, as well as quiet villages and the scenery - and climbs - of the Chilterns and Surrey Hills. The complete loop features 185 miles (297km) of cycling, with over 2800 metres of elevation gain.

But while riders on the weekend option will take a well-earned overnight breather at the event's Windsor Racecourse base camp, those on the new London Revolution ULTRA event will complete all six stages in a single day.

Last year's edition saw riders aged from 18 to 77 complete the two-day ride, with 96% of participants rating it as one of the best sportives they'd done. With the launch of the ULTRA, 'riding around town' has just got that bit more interesting!

Entries for the Dulux Trade London Revolution ULTRA open Friday 24 February. For more information and to book your place, visit www.london-revolution.com.
