Looking for an outer layer that's waterproof, breathable, reflective, AND printed with shiny maps of famous cycling cities? Now you can have it all, with the new Atlas jacket from Portland outfitters Showers Pass.

The latest addition to their line of technical waterproof breathable outerwear, the Atlas thumbs its nose at the elements with three-layer waterproof breathable fabric, a PFC-free durable water repellent treatment and fully sealed seams for all-weather protection.

Discreet by day the Atlas Jacket's reflective pattern comes to life at night under headlights.

The unique screenprinted MapReflect design depicts 11 international cities known for cycling, including Portland, New York, Paris, London and Sydney. The reflective pattern is claimed to be visible from 200 metres in car headlights, while the manufacturing technique means that no two jackets are exactly the same.

"The Atlas Jacket is equally at home on a bike commute or a world tour" says Kyle Ranson, Showers Pass president. "We wanted a jacket that supports an active outdoor lifestyle, stands up to bad weather, and offers a stylish way to stay visible to traffic at night."

With a removable hood, soft brushed lining, front hand warmer pockets and large vents to prevent overheating, it looks just the ticket for those drizzly commutes.

The Atlas jacket is available in men's and women's sizes and retails at £210.
