From Bradley Wiggins' sideburns to John Degenkolb's flying moustache, it seems pro cyclists have a special relationship with their facial hair. Now sportive fans can grab a piece of that fluffy action, with the launch of a new two-day sportive in Girona this September in association with the Movember Foundation.

The Movember Classic is a unique two-stage cycling challenge/sportive taking in the highlights of Catalunya. Based in the beautiful city of Girona, riders will test themselves on roads from the Vuelta Espana and, organisers say, will soon realise why this is the chosen training ground for many pro cyclists.

Entry includes three nights' 4* accommodation in Girona city centre as well as airport transfers, breakfast and dinner, bespoke branded kit, post-ride massage and all the cycling-focused support you'd expect from the old hands behind The Raid series.
