Think you're off the hook now that the main sportive season is behind us? Think again - Evans Cycles have confirmed details of their RIDE IT autumn/winter rides, including five multi-terrain Sportive Cross events.

Whatever type of riding you're into, there should be something to help you get your riding fix - from clocking up some miles on road sportives, exploring off road on a MTB ride, or mixing together a bit of both with one of the multi-terrain sportive cross rides.

Unlucky.
Unlucky.

Mark Gregory, RIDE IT Event Manager, said: "We've had a busy summer with our road and off road rides and whilst these will continue through the winter we're particularly excited to be announcing new dates for our multi terrain Sportive Cross format. They offer something a little different to the traditional sportive and are a great way to add some new interest to your winter riding."

The Sportive Cross rides are ideally suited to cyclocross or adventure road bikes, but can also be enjoyed on a mountain bike or even hybrid bike with suitable tyres. The routes are typically a 50:50 split between on road and off road offering a full multi-terrain experience where you could find yourself riding on anything from tarmac to gravel, grass, dirt tracks or sand as you head around the course.

2016/17 Sportive Cross event dates are:

· Thetford - 27th November 2016

· Hampshire - 4th December 2016

· Newbury - 22nd January 2017

· Leeds - 5th March 2017

· Gatwick - 19th March 2017

As with all Evans Cycles RIDE IT events you'll get fully way-marked routes, mechanical support, electronic chip timing and well-stocked High5 sponsored feed stations.
