Bikepacking is big news right now - from epic races like the Transcontinental to more modest DIY adventures of a weekend - and bicycling outfitters Blackburn Design have leapt on the trend with a new film and book encouraging cyclists to hit the road.

The film is called 'Roll with It', and features a group of disparate strangers getting together for an overnight cycling trip "to show how truly joyful and enriching travel by bike can be."

An accompanying booklet, 'Roll With It: A guide to camping with your bicycle' is available. It comes with a download code for the film and, Blackburn say, "dives deep into the nitty gritty of how to get your crew and gear together for a bike trip".

While there are the expected plugs for Blackburn's range of panniers and assorted bikepacking paraphernalia, it's worth a look for the appealing illustrations (Chris McNally) and photography (Brian Vernor) that are sure to whet your appetite for a foray into the wild.

Best of all, it's easy to read "without big words" - a boon for the easily discombobulated.

Nice work, Blackburn. Check out the film trailer here.
