Foxy fashionistas Vulpine have launched their Spring Summer 2016 range, with new products including a Merino Sunset Hoodie, High-Summer vest and ¾ length Boat Neck Tee.

Launched in 2012, Vulpine recently raised £1,000,000 in crowdfunding in just 14 days - and, on first impressions, the new collection certainly looks a million dollars... The striking photoshoot uses city-themed theatre sets, Vulpine friends, staff and customers as models, and a well-filled watering can.

Vulpine's ethos of providing "cycling apparel for your ride & destination" is reinforced in images of cyclists in rainy city parks in spring and balmy summer evenings outside a wine bar, reflecting Vulpine's belief that performance and style off the bike is just as important as on the bike.

New additions to the SS16 range include the luxurious new Merino Sunset Hoodie, for throwing on first thing, or as the evening temperature drops in summer.

Silk is used for a women's High-Summer Vest and ¾ Length Boat Neck T. "The extremely lightweight fabric is luxurious," Vulpine say, "hiding cutting edge performance."

Classic Vulpine bestsellers return in new colours, such as the pure merino wool Merino Alpine Jersey. Plus the smart, lightweight Summer Shorts with Vulpine's Diamond Gusset for greater comfort, as there are no seams to sit on.

To team with their shorts and trousers, Vulpine produce pure lightweight 100% Merino Boxers for men and Merino Boyshorts for women, with a slim Cytech pad. "Outwardly it looks normal, doesn't feel awkward, as the pad is low profile, and yet offers superior comfort for commuting" say Vulpine.

Nick Hussey, Founder and Creative Director at Vulpine, launched the brand four years ago. A cycling obsessive since he was a kid, Nick went on to race bikes before developing a fascination with British tailoring. The range Nick created fuses technical elements for performance whilst riding, while ensuring subtle style at your destination.

Hussey explains: "Since 2012, we've been pioneers of a more practical and stylish thinking in commuter cycling. Vulpine make technical gear where the technicality is hidden, so you can get on with life on the bike. We use specialist fabrics that prevent sweating, reduce odours and dry fast; we cut them for cycling and life off the bike, so you don't need to feel unpleasant or take a change of clothing with you. We're really proud of our SS16 range and have pulled out all the stops to make sure your life on and off the bike is the best it can be."

Hussey adds: "I love commuting and city riding. I love the ride and the destination; for me this is the drink after, the cake before and the sights as I go. The SS16 range and our accompanying photoshoot really goes back to this core belief that cycling commuting is awesome and that cycling is true freedom, wherever you are.

"It was great fun to invite friends, staff and customers of Vulpine to join in on the shoot to show real riders and what Vulpine means to them."
