RedWhite Apparel have announced the launch of their second product, The Race bib shorts.

The Singapore brand launched just over a year ago with just one flagship product: The Bib, a long-distance cycling short that garnered impressive reviews and was voted best cycling bib short by readers of a leading UK cycling website.

Entering their second year, and following feedback from their customers and racers, RedWhite have launched The Race, a brand new bib short with a focus on long distance needs but also with aggressive riding positions in mind.

The Race was eight months in the making, with several iterations and prototypes being made and tested out by riders and teams internationally. RedWhite believe they have come up with a product that they say retains all the key elements of The Bib, but with an optimised chamois that has a dimpled surface for better heat dissipation.

The chamois is also less dense and thinner, to focus on the needs of "aggressive" cyclists such as racers looking for a lightweight pad for shorter, high-intensity rides.

The Race shorts feature a lighter less dense chamois with dimples to aid heat dissipation.
