La Marmotte is one of Europe's great sportives and, with places selling out within hours, cyclists hoping to put themselves to the test on Alpe d'Huez have to show speed and determination off the bike first! If you want to be among their number next year, the date for your diary is Monday 9 November 2015, when registration for the 2016 Marmotte opens at 12:00 noon Paris time.

We will send an email reminder to subscribers on the day, so sign up here to be sure you're ready. Registration is via the event website at www.sportcommunication.info.

If you do miss out though, don't worry - each year hundreds of Marmotte places are available on package tours, and we'll be taking a look at your options.
