Adidas have launched a new range of cycling jerseys designed for sportive riders. The Supernova Climachill jersey features aluminium cooling spheres woven into the back of the jersey, which Adidas say give a cooling sensation in high temperatures.

As well as the unique cooling spheres, the new jerseys feature what Adidas call "Subzero yarns" that are flat, and have much larger surface area than traditional, round yarns to transfer more heat away from the body quickly. The yarn also contains titanium and is woven throughout the inside of each Climachill jersey where, say Adidas, "it liberates a rider's heat like never before."

Finally, the jerseys incorporate polar fibres - a lghtweight and breathable fabric that is claimed to maximise air permeability like an open mesh, allowing for effective ventilation and evaporation.

The Supernova Climachill jersey comes in a range of colours in both male and female specific designs, competitively priced at £55. For more info check out the full cycling range at www.adidascycling.co.uk.
